Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary: As a Performance Engineer, you will diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. Your role will involve five aspects of Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our systems and applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for improvement. - Design and execute performance tests to evaluate system performance and identify areas of improvement. - Analyze performance test results and provide insights to stakeholders. - Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and tools. - Conduct capacity planning to ensure systems can handle expected workloads. - Monitor application performance in production and troubleshoot performance issues. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance engineering. - Assist in problem detection and resolution by analyzing system logs and performance metrics. - Identify opportunities for performance optimization and implement solutions. - Collaborate with development teams to optimize code and improve system performance. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner. - Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools. - Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools. - Knowledge of software development lifecycle and architecture. - Familiarity with capacity planning principles and techniques. - Experience in analyzing system logs and performance metrics. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner. - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 Years full-time education is required.
