Job Description
Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.
Must have skills : Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
Good to have skills : Oracle Exadata Database Machine, MySQL Database Administration

Summary: As a Performance Engineer, you will diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. You will be responsible for five aspects of Performance Engineering, including software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management, and problem detection and resolution. Your typical day will involve analyzing performance data, identifying bottlenecks, and providing recommendations for improvement. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop performance testing strategies. - Conduct performance tests and analyze the results to validate system performance. - Assist in capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance. - Implement application performance management tools and techniques. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with MySQL Database Administration, Oracle Exadata Database Machine. - Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization. - Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter. - Knowledge of capacity planning methodologies and tools. - Familiarity with application performance management tools and techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
