Role: PeopleSoft Finance Developer

Location: Noida

The PeopleSoft Financials Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and support of customizations, enhancements, and integrations within the PeopleSoft Financials application suite. This individual collaborates with business analysts, functional leads, and other technical team members to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure financial solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement customizations, interfaces, and reports in the PeopleSoft Financials (e.g., GL, AP, AR, AM, PO, Expenses) modules.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions using PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, etc.).
• Maintain and support existing PeopleSoft Financials applications by troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, and optimizing performance.
• Build and support integrations between PeopleSoft Financials and other internal or third-party systems using Integration Broker, web services, or other ETL tools.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to participate in fit/gap analysis, design, solution reviews, and peer code reviews.
• Document technical designs, test scripts, business processes, and deployment plans in accordance with organizational standards.
• Support and execute testing cycles (unit, system, regression, user acceptance) documenting results and remediating issues as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials development and PeopleTools.
• Strong technical proficiency in PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Integration Broker, Component Interface, PS Query, and SQL.
• Experience with two or more Financials modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Management (AM), Procurement (PO), Expenses.
• Experience developing and supporting interfaces to external systems (e.g., banking, payroll, reporting).
• Familiarity with Oracle databases, SQL, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, SDLC, and IT change management processes.
• Excellent analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
