Job Description
GrowthGrid is scaling with remote, high-ownership teams across multiple client projects.
Were looking for a People Ops & Performance Lead who can own hiring ops, onboarding, contracts, performance tracking, and team hygiene - end to end.
This is not traditional HR.
This is about structure, clarity, accountability, and smooth execution.
- Post jobs across platforms and communities
- Screen and shortlist profiles against role requirements
- Conduct first-round screening calls (fit, expectations, availability)
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication
- Maintain a clean hiring pipeline and status tracking
- Manage end-to-end onboarding for employees, interns, and contractors
- Collect and organise:
- ID & compliance documents
- Experience & background details
- Contracts and agreements
- Ensure every new joiner has a clear onboarding experience
- Coordinate joining dates, access, and internal introductions
- Draft and manage:
- Employment contracts
- Internship & consultant agreements
- Probation clauses
- Notice period terms
- Maintain updated records of employment terms
- Ensure clarity on roles, expectations, and engagement structure
- Help design and maintain:
- Performance tracking frameworks (KPIs, OKRs, output metrics)
- Incentive/bonus structures (where applicable)
- Set up tools or systems to monitor performance for remote teams
- Track performance reviews, feedback cycles, and improvement plans
- Maintain transparency around performance expectations
- Maintain clean, up-to-date records for all team members
- Track:
- Joining dates
- Probation completion
- Contract renewals
- Exits & notice periods
- Act as the single source of truth for people-related data
Your goal:
Hiring is organised, onboarding is smooth, performance is visible, and everyone knows where they stand.What this role is NOT

- Bureaucratic policy-making
This is an ops-first people role.
- 36 years experience in People Ops, HR Ops, Talent Ops, or Admin + HR
- Experience working with remote or distributed teams
- Comfortable setting up performance frameworks and tracking systems
- Strong follow-up, organisation, and communication skills
- Can handle multiple roles, candidates, and team members simultaneously
Bonus if youve worked in:
- Startups or agencies

Google Workspace, LinkedIn, job portals, ATS tools, Notion, performance tracking tools, HRMS (basic), email & calendar tools.
