InCommon helps global companies build and operate teams in India. For many of these teams, we act as their Employer of Record (EOR). This means employees are legally employed by InCommon while working day to day with our client companies. This role supports internal employees, EOR employees and client operations.


This role is accountable for employee experience and client experience, ensuring that every HR interaction builds clarity and trust.


Role overview

You will own People Operations execution across the full employee lifecycle for both internal and EOR employees. You will adapt and roll out our existing policy baseline, run onboarding and exits, manage documentation, and be the first point of contact for both employees and client HR/ops teams.


You will work directly with clients over email and Slack and coordinate with our compliance partners to keep everything audit-ready.


This is a high-ownership execution role focused on turning intent into clean, reliable operations.

What you will own


Employee lifecycle operations (Internal + EOR)

  • End-to-end onboarding including documentation collection, joining checklists, welcome workflows, and day-one readiness
  • Maintenance of accurate employee records and document repositories on Keka and shared drives
  • HR documentation including offer and appointment letters, confirmation letters, employment certificates, and policy acknowledgements
  • Exit workflows including resignation processing, last working day tracking, asset recovery coordination, and documentation readiness


Policy implementation

  • Adapt existing HR policy baseline and roll it out across internal and EOR populations
  • Ensure policies are clearly communicated, practically usable, and consistently followed


Employee experience ownership

  • First-line resolution for employee HR queries across policies, documentation, benefits coverage, and lifecycle processes
  • Build FAQs, onboarding guides, and simple workflows that reduce confusion and turnaround times


Client experience ownership (EOR)

  • Act as the operational HR point of contact for clients on onboarding, documentation, policy clarifications, and exits
  • Maintain predictable timelines, proactive updates, and clean communication across email and Slack
  • Track and resolve client escalations with strong ownership


Compliance coordination

  • Coordinate with compliance partners for PF, PT, ESI, POSH, and Shops & Establishments workflows
  • Maintain clean records and audit-ready documentation trails


Systems and process building

  • Build and maintain SOPs, trackers, templates, and checklists across the employee lifecycle
  • Use Keka, Google Workspace, Notion, and Slack to keep operations clean and scalable
