People & HR Coordinator India Office
Location: Hyderabad, India
Reporting To: Regional HR Manager Dubai
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Overview:
Graystone Capital is setting up and expanding its India support operations to service its GCC and Asia regional businesses. We are hiring a People & HR Coordinator India Office to manage day-to-day people operations, HR coordination, and employee lifecycle management for the Hyderabad office, while working closely with the Regional HR Manager based in Dubai.
This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who is comfortable operating in a cross-border reporting environment and taking ownership of local HR execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. People Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle for the Hyderabad office:
- Onboarding & induction
- Employee documentation and records
- Attendance and leave management
- Probation tracking and confirmations
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files (digital and physical).
2. Recruitment & Hiring Coordination
- Support recruitment activities for India-based roles in coordination with:
- Regional HR Manager (Dubai)
- Business and functional leaders
- Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer rollouts.
- Assist with job postings, LinkedIn coordination, and recruitment trackers.
3. Employee Relations & Workplace Management
- Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related queries.
- Support employee engagement, workplace discipline, and grievance handling.
- Help foster a professional, compliant, and positive work culture.
4. HR Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Support compliance with Indian labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors and consultants for statutory processes.
- Assist during HR audits, inspections, and internal reviews when required.
- Ensure implementation of HR policies issued by Dubai HQ.
5. Performance & HR Administration Support
- Assist in performance review cycles, appraisals, and feedback documentation.
- Track performance timelines and HR action points.
- Support exit management, final settlements coordination, and documentation.
6. Reporting & Coordination with Dubai HQ
- Prepare periodic HR reports and dashboards for the Regional HR Manager.
- Ensure smooth communication across time zones.
- Execute HR instructions and frameworks shared by Dubai leadership.
Candidate Profile:
Experience & Qualifications
- 25 years of experience in HR operations, HR generalist, or people coordination roles.
- Prior experience in a corporate, consulting, BFSI, or professional services environment preferred.
- Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA / PGDM in HR is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of HR operations and people management fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently while reporting to overseas stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and HR documentation tools.
