About the role
At Beyond Blue, we are looking for an experienced People & Culture Operations Adviser with strong HR operations experience and a detail-focused proactive approach. This role is essential in keeping our core people processes running smoothly and ensuring employees receive accurate, timely and practical guidance.
Youll manage contracts, onboarding, HR data, mandatory learning workflows and our shared inbox. Youll join a close-knit, collaborative P&C team, working closely with the P&C Business Partners and the P&C Operations and Insights Manager. This exposure will give you valuable insight into both operational and strategic HR, supporting your ongoing career growth.
By delivering high-quality HR support and demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and care in every interaction, you will play a key role in enhancing the reputation and visibility of the People & Culture team across Beyond Blue.
Our team values clarity, care and delivery. This is a hands-on role for someone confident with HR tasks, comfortable navigating multiple P&C systems and able to work independently.

What youll be doing
- Preparing and managing employee life cycle documents including employee contracts, employment letters and variations
- Managing onboarding and offboarding workflows
- Maintaining accurate HR data in our HRIS and related platforms
- Managing the P&C shared inbox and responding to queries promptly and professionally
- Resolving HR queries independently, using sound judgement and research
- Providing clear process guidance to people leaders and P&C Business Partners
- Identifying and implementing small improvements to templates and processes
- Helping maintain well-organised, easy-to-use P&C information.
What youll bring
- Strong experience in HR operations, ideally across multiple systems
- Working knowledge of contracts, employment changes, and onboarding processes
- Confidence using HR systems such as ELMO or similar
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive, organised and dependable approach
- Ability to take initiative and see issues through to resolution
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and keep stakeholders informed
- Good judgement, maturity, and discretion when handling when handling sensitive information
- A commitment to inclusion, cultural safety, and reconciliation
- A collaborative and helpful mindset.
