Job Purpose (Checklist)
CGS India is seeking Senior Software engineer a talented and motivated PEGA Developer to join our team.
Reporting to Team Lead, you will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining new product introduction related health care application systems.
In this role, you will also promote best practices and internal business processes. You will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and be excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems.
Job Responsibility (Checklist)
The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following key deliverables:
- Leads the design, development, and implementation of PEGA-based solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices. Translate wireframes and design mockups into clean, efficient, and reusable code
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Deep understanding of PEGA PRPC architecture and all related design and implementation features.
- Experience with various integration methods like REST APIs, messaging, and queue-based integrations.
- Integrate PEGA with other systems, and participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
- hands-on development, code reviews, and collaboration with various teams and stakeholders
- Defining and promoting PEGA best practices, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Basic knowldge in Java and JavaScript, as well as experience with other relevant technologies like SQL, XML, and HTML.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues, bottlenecks, and bugs within the PEGA applications
- Strong agile/scrum development experience, experience interpreting user stories and applying the appropriate technical solutions to deliver operational results
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams
Qualification
- Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers )
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in React and Angular technologies
Knowledge and Competencies
- Overall IT experience of 5+ years of IT experience
- Must-Have: Strong PEGA hand-on experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Java, SQL
- Deep understanding of PEGA PRPC architecture and all related design and implementation features.
