Job Description

We are looking for experienced Pega Smart Dispute professionals to build and deliver enterprise-scale dispute management solutions for Banking & Financial Services clients. Youll own design, development, and delivery of Smart Dispute applications with strong focus on scalability, performance, and compliance with Pega best practices.


This role needs deep functional understanding of the dispute lifecycle, strong Pega architecture skills, and the ability to lead teams and drive stakeholder discussions.


Option A: Pega Smart Dispute Architect Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end solution architecture for Pega Smart Dispute implementations.
  • Design scalable, reusable Smart Dispute frameworks/components.
  • Define app structure, integration architecture, data models, and case flows.
  • Ensure guardrails + performance + security + scalability compliance.
  • Run architecture reviews, walkthroughs, and code quality checks.
  • Mentor Pega Leads/Developers; provide technical leadership.
  • Act as primary technical SPOC for client discussions and solution sign-offs.
  • Drive performance optimization, upgrades, and architectural improvements.
Option B: Pega Smart Dispute Lead Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day development and delivery for Smart Dispute projects.
  • Convert business requirements into technical designs and rule configurations.
  • Assign tasks, review deliverables, and ensure on-time delivery quality.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with Pega best practices.
  • Coordinate with QA, BAs, and release teams.
  • Support production issues, RCA, and defect fixes.
  • Mentor junior developers; ensure continuous knowledge sharing.
Mandatory Technical Skills
  • 7+ years hands-on Pega application development.
  • Strong expertise in Pega Smart Dispute Framework (case lifecycle, flows, SLAs, correspondence).
  • Experience with Pega Case Management, BPM, and Decisioning.
  • Hands-on experience with Pega 8.x.
  • Strong understanding of dispute workflows in Banking/Cards/Payments domain.
  • Integrations: REST/SOAP (build + consume).
  • Pega UI: Section, Harness, Cosmos / UI-Kit.
  • Performance tuning and application optimization.
Domain Expertise

Banking & Financial Services experience, especially:

  • Credit/Debit card disputes
  • Transaction disputes and chargebacks
  • Regulatory / compliance-driven workflows
Preferred Skills / Certifications
  • Pega LSA / CLSA / CSSA (preferred).
  • Large-scale enterprise implementation experience.
  • Agile/Scrum exposure.
  • Strong documentation + stakeholder communication.
