Job Description: 

  • Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing.
  • Responsibilities include capturing user stories/requirements, writing both functional and test code, automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration, and end to end testing of the software tools.
  • In this role you will be responsible for enabling EDA vendor tools for RC Extraction (StarRC, Quantus, SMNS-xACT, etc), and EM tools for high-frequency analysis on Intel's process technologies.
  • Candidates will work with technology specification owners and validation teams in a coordinated fashion to ensure a high-quality solution. Interaction with EDA vendors is expected for new feature enablement.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform Development and support for DRC/LVS/PEX/PERC runset(ruledeck) generation on Intel's process.
  • Development/support of ICV/Calibre/Pegasus/PVS runset (rule deck) for DRC/LVS/PEX/PERCConduct the L0QA of the codes.
  • Bring in time efficiency, automation and solve customer issues on rusets.
  • Develop and maintain DRC/LVS/extraction flow, working closely with various design/development groups.
  • Perform in a dynamic and challenging environment with drive and creativity.
  • EMX/Inductor, MIM/microwave devices extraction experience will be an added advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate needs to have:
  • B.tech or M.tech with 8+ years of experience in DRC/LVS/PEX/PERC
    runset development/QA on ICV/Calibre/Pegasus tools/flow.
  • Strong CMOS concepts
  • Strong debugging and scripting skills
  • Strong team working and leadership skills.
  • Layout tools: Virtuoso, CalibreDRV, IC Work Bench
  • Runset Development: Calibre, PVS, ICV, Pegasus
  • Scripting :Unix, Perl, Python or TCL
