Position Summary A Payroll Systems Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing payroll technology platforms to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation. This role combines technical expertise with multi-country payroll knowledge to support seamless payroll operations within multiple solutions.


Key Responsibilities System Management & Administration


Administer and maintain payroll and time and attendance software systems

Configure system settings, pay codes, deductions, and tax tables

Perform system upgrades, patches, and testing

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues

Ensure data integrity and security compliance Integration & Automation

Manage integrations between HCM, payroll and timekeeping systems

Develop and implement automated workflows

Create custom reports and data extracts

Test new interfaces and system enhancements Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with local government regulations

Maintain audit trails and documentation

Support year-end processing (tax & benefit required reporting)

Respond to internal and external audits User Support & Training

Provide technical support to payroll team and end users

Create user guides and documentation

Train staff on system features and updates

Serve as subject matter expert for payroll technology


Required Qualifications Education


Bachelor's degree: Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field

Equivalent work experience may substitute for degree Experience

4+ years of payroll systems administration

Knowledge of India, United States, & Canada - payroll regulations and compliance Technical Skills Proficiency in payroll software system administration (e.g., Zoho People, Payroll & Books, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, ADP and Workforce Time & Attendance)

Strong Excel/data analysis skills Knowledge of API integrations

Understanding of database concepts and SQL (preferred)

Experience with HRIS integrations

Report writing and business intelligence tools Other Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent attention to detail

Project management capabilities

Effective communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Multi-country payroll experience
