| Key roles and responsibilities | Payroll Processing: ü Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees and ensure accuracy of employee data ü Verify and reconcile timekeeping information and attendance records ü Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers. ü Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies ü Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests. ü Compliance: Stay current with state, and local payroll laws and regulations. ü Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements ü Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment ü Audits and Reporting: Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
