Job Description
Payroll is one of the most critical functions of any organization. At PTC, the Global Payroll team manages payroll operations across 32+ countries, ensuring accurate and timely payments for 700+ employees worldwide.
As part of this highperforming team, the Payroll Executive will primarily support endtoend payroll processing for India, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional employee service.
This role requires strong handson experience with India payroll and a deep understanding of statutory requirements. You will work collaboratively with global colleagues across the US, EMEA, Asia, and South America, receiving mentorship and opportunities to grow into multicountry payroll responsibilities

Your Impact:
In this role, our new team member will be initially responsible for payroll administration for our monthly assigned payrolls to ensure that employees are paid accurately and timely.

Your Day-To-Day:
- Lead and administer assigned monthly payrolls ensuring ontime and accurate processing.
- Validate payroll inputs and coordinate with external payroll providers.
- Collect and process variable compensation elements (bonuses, incentives, awards, taxable items).
- Review, reconcile, and validate payroll results; escalate or correct discrepancies as needed.
- Conduct error analysis, periodend validations, and statutory reconciliations.
- Manage Indiaspecific statutory processes including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Gratuity, and YearEnd Tax Declarations.
- Liaise with EPFO and other statutory bodies as required.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Indian labor laws, tax norms, and statutory requirements.
- Respond to employee payroll and tax queries with accuracy, courtesy, and timeliness.
- Maintain uptodate standard operating procedures and streamline existing processes.
- Support finance and audit requirements, including monthly reconciliations and internal control checks.
- Prepare payrollrelated reports, dashboards, and adhoc analysis for management.
- Participate in global finance initiatives and special projects in collaboration with HR, Accounting, Legal, and other teams.
- Adhere to PTC policies, data protection regulations, and internal controls.
Your Skills and Knowledge:
Technical & Functional
- Indepth knowledge of India payroll legislation and statutory compliance (mandatory).
- Experience with ADP (GlobalView/Celergo strongly preferred).
- Exposure to Workday HCM is a plus.
- 35 years of payroll experience; multicountry or APAC exposure preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, data validation, etc.).
