Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patent searches including prior art, patentability, FTO, and landscape analysis in optical communication and related domains
• Work closely with R&D teams and inventors to identify patentable innovations
• Perform technical analysis of optical fiber, telecom, and advanced networking technologies
• Prepare claim charts, technical reports, and patent analytics presentations
• Support patent drafting inputs and prosecution activities in coordination with IP counsels
• Track competitor IP activities and provide strategic insights
• Contribute to building and strengthening the organizations IP portfolio

Desired Candidate Profile

• 23 years of experience in patent research and analytics
• Strong engineering background in Mechanical / Material Science / ECE / IT / Computer Science
• Good understanding of optical fiber, telecom systems, networking, or related technologies
• Exposure to in-house IP management is preferred
• Indian Patent Agent qualification and/or IP Law certification is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical, research, and technical documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams
