Job Description:

• Performs the function of Illustrated Parts lister on projects.

• Conducts in-depth analysis of engineering drawings, service bulletins, schematics and modifications to interpret data for inclusion in the IPL.

• Create sales order specific Illustrated Parts list volume for both New Production and Retrofit Customers.

• This volume will be produced using established database material and by creating new material combined from multiple information sources.

• Additional responsibilities may include the development and maintenance of the database that supports this volume and will make sure database materials comply with the applicable standards.

• Creation/modification of illustrations based on Iso Draw

Job Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of creating Illustrated Parts list.

• Experience with XML, SGML, Arbortext or similar publishing software, database management software and the documentation publishing industry.

• Ability to interface with Engineering and shop floor personnel for clarifications in the Engineering input documents.

• Ability to read schematics, electrical drawings, and bill of material.

• Ability to create Illustrated Parts list from multiple information sources like BOM, Engineering Drawing and existing Database.

• Knowledge of Industrial Turbine Machinery, including control, electrical and hydro-mechanical systems.

• The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• PC Windows skills and with familiarity with programs Adobe Acrobat, CREO, Windchill and the Microsoft suite of office software are a positive.

• Knowledge of commercial publication specifications.

• Possesses strong technical knowledge in a specific turbomachinery application such as Compressors, Generators, or mechanical drives.

• Communicates effectively with global partners and coordinates with team members within the group.

• Recognize opportunities for process improvement.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Provides mentorship and guidance to other team members.

Desirable Qualification:

• BE Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering.

• Ability to read/understand Process and Instrument Diagram (P&ID) and Electrical Loops and Schematics (ELS).

• Maximum 3 years of experience in Power generation or wind turbines or O&G or Aerospace or Automobile industry.

• Wide exposure to integrate with related fields of procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, service parts are preferred.

• Good communication, organizational, teaming, mentoring and analytical skills are a must.
