Role Description:
This Partner Development Manager (PDM) position is based in India, focusing on AI and Analytics partnerships, specifically BI and Gen AI partners. The PDM is responsible for establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships, driving business growth through partner relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve mutual goals.
- Defining and executing a global partnership and business plan to align with TCV and growth targets.
- Creating business strategies and GTM plans, managing end-to-end execution to achieve TCV targets for assigned partners.
- Driving the development of sales enablement materials and collaborating on partner-delivered enablement strategies.
- Establishing a regular cadence for pipeline, opportunity, and business reviews with partners.
- Defining strategic accounts and joint account planning for proactive business development.
- Serving as the internal subject matter expert on partner solutions and technologies.
- Communicating partner strategies, value propositions, and GTM strategies to business unit leaders and sales teams.
- 8+ years of experience in driving direct or partner sales.
- 3+ years working for a services company as a PDM managing Tier 1 BI partners.
- Strong knowledge of BI and Gen AI technologies and market trends to create and execute a growth-oriented business plan.
- Proven track record in partner development, management, and sales, with a history of exceeding revenue goals and driving successful partner programs.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and structure complex initiatives, programs, and deals.
- Results-oriented and proactive in driving initiatives and creating new business opportunities.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across various functional and geographic areas within a global company.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and adapt based on changing market conditions, client, and partner demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills, capable of engaging with different levels within Cognizant and partner organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
