Technical Competency : L3

• Responsible for Network Security services for Customer covering Firewalls (Mainly Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco), IPS / IDS and related solutions

• Administration of network security devices,  Defining/implementing/managing the policies/rules on network security devices, troubleshooting/fixing in case of issues, device upgrades/patch management

• Interface with Data center & Network towers teams for embedding the Network security measures, and identify any potential risks & propose mitigation plans. 

• Measure and report the Security Operational SLAs and KPIs 

• Identifying the area of improvements and work on the improvement plans

• Experience in support, administration and installations/upgrades of network hardware including FW and IDS/IPS;

• Experience in troubleshooting network security and firewall problems;

• Experience in managing external suppliers (e.g. managing support, interacting with network consultants); 

• Preparing and updating NW security documentation

• Plan, research and design robust security architectures for any IT/client  project

• Design and review installation of firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS 

• Provide technical supervision for (and guidance to) a security team

• Respond immediately to security-related incidents and provide a thorough post-event analysis

• Update and upgrade security systems as needed

• Enterprise-level Cisco ISE configuration and troubleshooting.

• Coordinate with remote users to install/configure equipment on site

• Following ServiceNow tickets to closure.
