Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director - Digital Marketing to own and drive the end-to-end paid media strategy, planning, execution, and optimization across Proximus Global. This is a senior role responsible for shaping how our brands (Route Mobile, Telesign & Bics) engage with global audiences across key B2B tech markets.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience managing high-budget, high-impact paid media programs for global B2B tech companies. You will lead a team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive data-led media strategies that maximize ROI and contribute directly to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the comprehensive Paid Media strategy aligned with Proximus Globals business and marketing objectives.
- Manage and optimize multi-channel paid campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Display, Programmatic, Retargeting, and emerging paid channels.
- Lead campaign planning, audience segmentation, keyword strategy, creative ideation, bid management, and budget allocation to maximize performance and lead generation.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Data teams to align media strategies with product positioning and go-to-market plans.
- Set up and manage global paid media programs with sensitivity to regional market nuances and industry trends.
- Analyze performance data and KPIs to provide actionable insights, continuously optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI and cost-efficiency.
- Build, lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing Paid Media team to drive strategic excellence and execution.
- Manage external media agencies and platforms partners where applicable.
- Ensure proper tracking, measurement, and reporting frameworks are in place to demonstrate campaign effectiveness and business impact.
- Stay ahead of the latest industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to continually innovate and drive growth.
Must-Have Experience
- 10 to 12+ years of experience in Paid Media marketing, preferably in B2B Tech (CPaaS, Digital Identity, Connectivity, Cloud, SaaS).
- Proven hands-on experience managing large-scale paid media programs for global companies.
- Strong understanding of global market dynamics and regional digital behavior across key geographies (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
- Expertise in Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Ads, Programmatic Display, Retargeting, and other B2B-relevant paid channels.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn analytics into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience managing and scaling paid media teams.
- Strong budget management skills, with a focus on delivering ROI.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present strategies and results to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Google Ads, LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, or Microsoft Ads is a plus.
- Experience working in fast-paced global organizations or with multiple brands.
- Exposure to MarTech stack integrations (Google Tag Manager, CRM integrations, Marketing Automation).
- Understanding of ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies and its integration into paid media.
