Packaging Designer (Retail & Consumer Electronics)

About the Role

Were looking for a Packaging Designer who understands that packaging is not just design its a sales tool.

This role is for someone who can translate product value into strong retail visuals, create packaging that stands out on shelves, and adapt designs across both original and licensed themes.

Youll work closely with product, marketing, and licensing teams to create packaging that communicates clearly, attracts customers, and supports brand growth.

What Youll Do

Design packaging for consumer products with strong retail shelf impact

Translate product features and value into clear, visually engaging packaging layouts

Work on both original brand packaging and licensed-themed packaging

Create packaging artwork, dielines, and print-ready files

Ensure packaging consistency across SKUs and product ranges

Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align packaging with positioning and target audience

Adapt quickly to new product launches and packaging requirements in a fast-moving startup

What Were Looking For

2 years of experience in packaging design, preferably in consumer electronics or retail products

Strong understanding of retail packaging, product communication, and visual hierarchy

Ability to convert technical features into customer-friendly visuals

Experience working with dielines, print processes, and packaging formats

Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and packaging layout tools

Someone practical, organised, and comfortable in a startup environment

Bonus Points

Exposure to toy, gadget, lifestyle or electronics categories

Experience working with licensed brands or themed packaging

Understanding of how packaging impacts online listings and product perception
