Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and managing rundowns for news bulletins, ensuring segment order and timing are accurate.
• Monitor segment durations and flag any timing issues to the producer for quick adjustments.
• Support the execution of bulletins by coordinating with anchors, producers, and technical staff.
• Update the on-screen ticker with real-time information including breaking news, local updates, and market trends.
• Ensure ticker accuracy and relevance during live broadcasts by coordinating with editorial teams.
• Help gather and organize content for bulletins and capsules, focusing on stories relevant to Punjab.
• Support editorial campaigns and special segments by providing research and logistical assistance.
• Assist in monitoring viewer engagement metrics like ATSV and suggest improvements for content packaging.
• Ensure all content meets basic editorial standards and is free from factual or technical errors

Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of news production and broadcast workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with newsroom software and ticker systems is a plus
