Location: Hyderabad

Working Hours: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST


Role Overview

We are hiring an Outbound Sales Executive (SDR) to help drive growth for Steps AI, our agentic AI chatbot built for small and mid-sized businesses in North America.

This role is focused on high-quality outbound salesprospecting, outreach, and booking qualified meetings with U.S. and Canadian SMBs. You will work directly with the founders on messaging, positioning, and sales strategy.

We are not looking for clock-punchers.

We are looking for salespeople who love the chase, take ownership of their pipeline, and think independently.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and engage SMBs via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn
  • Understand Steps AI deeply and pitch the product with clarity and confidence
  • Own the outbound sales pipeline from first touch to booked meetings
  • Personalize outreach based on industry, use case, and buyer persona
  • Collaborate directly with founders on messaging and outbound strategy
  • Use sales tools such as Apollo, Instantly, and HubSpot to manage outreach
  • Continuously test and improve scripts, emails, and targeting

  • What Were Looking ForMust-Have Skills
    • 23 years of outbound SDR/BDR experience (U.S. or global markets preferred)
    • Strong cold emailing and cold calling skills
    • Ability to clearly communicate product value to business owners
    • Comfortable handling objections and rejection
    • Experience managing your own pipeline and activity metrics
    • Willingness to work U.K. time zones 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST
    Good to Have
    • Experience selling SaaS, AI, or tech products
    • Familiarity with SMB sales
    • Experience using Apollo, Instantly, HubSpot, or similar tools
