OTM Technical Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) Technical professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing OTM solutions to optimize our transportation operations. This role involves working closely with business analysts and other technical teams to understand business requirements, develop technical specifications, and ensure the successful execution of OTM projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of OTM modules, technical architecture, and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement OTM solutions, including integration with other systems.
• Create and manage agents and workflows in OTM.
• Use Fusion Transportation Intelligence to analyze and improve transportation operations.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of OTM projects.

Required Skills

• OTM Integration: The candidate must have a strong understanding of OTM integration, including the ability to design, develop, and implement OTM solutions.
• Agents & Workflows: The candidate should have a deep understanding of agents and workflows in OTM, including the ability to create and manage them effectively.
• Fusion Transportation Intelligence: The candidate should have experience with Fusion Transportation Intelligence, including the ability to use it to analyze and improve transportation operations.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle ADF: Experience with Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) is a plus.
• Oracle PL/SQL: Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, including the ability to write and optimize SQL queries, is beneficial.
• Java: Experience with Java programming language is a plus.
• XML: Knowledge of XML and related technologies is beneficial.
• Web Services: Experience with web services, including SOAP and REST, is a plus.
• Oracle EBS: Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite is beneficial.
• BI Publisher: Experience with BI Publisher, including the ability to create and manage reports, is a plus.
• Unix/Linux: Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems is beneficial.
• Oracle Forms and Reports: Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports is a plus.
• Project Management: Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, is beneficial.
