Job Description
Job Purpose/Summary -
Act as the Functional Design owner of assigned S/4 Hana Finance sub-modules and ensure adherence of system design to the agreed design principles as signed off with the Platform Product Owner. Developing the functional design specifications and structures for them.
Involvement in sprint planning meetings to help provide clarity and elaborate features and user stories to help the engineering team better understand the requirements measure success based on 3 principles:
Automation (100% touchless)
Standardization (1 flexible standard)
Quality (100%)
Ensuring we utilize S/4HANA to meet the ambitions
Act as a subject matter expert for relevant scrum teams, providing insight, context and additional information as needed to help understanding of what is required.
Identify and escalate cross-functional / platform issues and opportunities with a holistic End-2-End mindset – keeping in mind the up- and downstream interdependencies OTC has.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing business design specification documentation, hereunder design documents and Key Data Elements/Structures – all delivered on Time
• Driving a holistic End-2-End view where interdependencies requirements and demands are described in detail
• Testing plans developed and executed on time
• Review test Results and resolve/escalate Test issues on time
• Develop and deliver Rollout plans and User training on time
• End user satisfaction
• Process Automation, Standardization and Quality
• Develop data migration, data clean-up and data cut over plans
• Act as the super user / SME for the end-users
Required skills for the role :
The job requires a High-level Education in Finance with a proven track record of demonstrating an end-to-end process mindset.
Due to the high complexity of the position, with many stakeholders, it is expected that the candidate can navigate in such an environment with confidence The role requires the ability to apply agile analysis techniques for creating user stories and acceptance criteria, while being meticulous in documentation and delivery management.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven process expertise in OTC processes, who also posses a prior experience with SAP for the relevant OTC sub-modules.
A background from both LnS as well as ocean is desirable.
This role is a part of our transformation Journey, ensuring we have a state-of-the-art OTC platform and will have many interdependencies also outside of finance, why we are looking for a person who has demonstrated change management and readiness in his/her career
