OT Technician

1.      Administers pulmonary function testing, including spirometry, flow volume loops with and without bronchodilator

2.      Performs Sleep Study

3.      Administers six-minute walk test, Oximetry pulse studies, 02 therapies, and Nebulizer treatment

4.      Presents educational sessions for other departments within the clinic, such as family medicine, general internal medicine and sub-specialty units

5.      Explains technique for inhaler usage to patients

6.      Educates patients regarding pulmonary medications and use of oxygen

7.      Attends to emergency codes and assists in stabilizing patients for transport to hospital

8.      Coordinates clinic schedules for pulmonary physicians and for special tests within the clinic and outlying facilities

9.      Maintains pulmonary function equipment and associated supplies.

1.      Will work in Shifts (Morning, Evening & Night) of 8.5 hours a day.

2.      Will remain on call for emergencies.

3.      Stretched working hours

1.      Should have very good assisting skill.

2.      Should have basic knowledge of computers.

3.      Should be polite & good in communication while handling patient.
