Role Overview

URVA Consulting is hiring Organic Farm Auditors / Certification Executives on behalf of its client, Agro Africa Trading Company. The role involves working directly with farmer groups and agricultural projects across Africa, supporting organic certification processes, conducting field inspections, and ensuring compliance with international organic farming standards. This is a field-intensive role ideal for agriculture professionals who have experience in farm auditing, organic certification, or agricultural project management.

Key Responsibilities

Farm Audits & Field Certification

Conduct on-ground farm inspections and organic certification audits

Work closely with farmer groups to ensure adherence to organic farming standards

Support certification for crops such as Soybean, Sesame, Cashew, and Shea

Project Implementation

Travel across different agricultural locations within assigned countries

Handle certification projects for multiple farmer groups throughout the year

Support implementation of organic farming practices and documentation systems

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain proper farm audit documentation and compliance records

Coordinate with the central certification team based in India

Assist during external certification audits conducted by international agencies

Farmer Engagement

Work directly with farmers and agricultural clusters

Provide guidance on organic farming standards and compliance requirements

Mandatory Requirements

>38 years of experience in agriculture, farm auditing, or organic certification

>Strong understanding of farming practices and crop management

> Experience working with farmer groups or agricultural projects

>Willingness to relocate and travel Africa

Ideal Candidate Profile

>Experience working with organic certification agencies or farm audit companies

>Exposure to certification systems such as NPOP / Organic Standards

>Agriculture professionals comfortable with field operations

>Highly adaptable and willing to work in international project environments
