What would you do? The person will be responsible for processing AR transactions such as cash application, gathering and analyzing customer financial information. The person will assist the Cash Application Team Lead in meeting the service delivery of Cash Application team The Cash Application Processing team focuses on solving queries related to cash applications and coordination with the customers. The role requires a good understanding of cash applications, the process of applying unapplied cash, reconciliation of suspense account in cash application, and process them from payment receipt to finalization.
What are we looking for? Graduate of finance-related or business course; Accounting graduate an advantage At least 2 yrs. related working experience in OTC backend process Experience in any of skills below is preferred but not required ? Health Insurance / Claims Benefits ? Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred Experience in any accounting ERP (Oracle, SAP, etc.) Able to communicate well in English for verbal and written forms Previous accounting experience/studies in particular AR Must be a good team player Responsibility and accuracy in the completion of received tasks Ability to solve urgent matters and work under pressure Flexibility, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing Reliable, proactive approach to entrusted tasks (thinking outside the box is a plus) Experience with accounting systems Microsoft Office skills Moderate to no travel depending on project involvement. Work hours at night. Overtime and On-Call may be required. Client holidays are observed instead of Philippine or local holidays. Daily RTO during training and knowledge transfer until stabilization
Roles and Responsibilities: Manages and execute Order to Cash, Cash Application process. Process incoming cash payments, such as checks, remittance advices, and other payment-related documents Processing credit card and electronic check transactions, obtaining the necessary documentation required for posting, and researching and resolving unapplied cash Monitors and validates key payment information for accuracy and completeness, making any necessary corrections or adjustments Enters the extracted and validated payment data into the healthcare company s cash application system or financial database accurately and in a timely manner Communicates with customers, financial institutions, or third-party payment processors to resolve payment-related matters Reviews cash receipts, outstanding balances, and other payment-related metrics to identify discrepancies and address reoccurring problems Understands the end-to-end process of cash application Understand and perform Accounts Receivable supervisory role if and when needed Process bank adjustments. Participate in analysis and brainstorming sessions deriving actionable data from quality insights Act as a subject matter expert of Cash Application May require making presentations to OTC Leadership
