Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle SCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Order Management and Discrete Manufacturing modules within Oracle E-Business Suite R12. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in BOM, WIP, Inventory, Purchasing, and Order Management, along with strong exposure to costing and manufacturing business processes.
This is a hybrid role based in Chennai / Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle SCM Functional
- Configure, implement, and support Oracle SCM modules in Oracle EBS R12
- Manage and maintain costing setups for Bill of Materials (BOM) and Work in Progress (WIP)
- Analyze business requirements and provide effective functional solutions
- Prepare functional documentation including BRD, FRS, and test cases
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), UAT, and provide production support
- Work closely with technical teams for customizations, enhancements, and issue resolution
SCM Modules
- Work extensively on:
- Inventory (INV)
- Purchasing (PO)
- Order Management (OM)
Discrete Manufacturing Modules
- Handle and support:
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Work In Progress (WIP)
- Support month-end and year-end costing activities
- Ensure smooth integration across manufacturing and supply chain processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience as Oracle SCM Functional Consultant
- Strong experience in:
- Inventory Management
- Purchase Order
- Order Management
- BOM & WIP (Discrete Manufacturing)
- Good understanding of costing concepts and manufacturing business processes
- Experience in implementation and support projects
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in end-to-end Oracle EBS R12 implementations
- Strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing integrations
- Exposure to performance tuning and process optimization
- Ability to handle multiple business units and complex scenarios
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in onsite-offshore model
Relevant Experience Preferred
- IT / ITES organizations using Oracle EBS R12
- Manufacturing or product-based companies
- Global delivery model projects
- Multi-location / multi-org implementations
Qualification
- Any Graduate (Bachelors degree preferred)
- Oracle EBS R12 Certification (added advantage)
