Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location: ITPL, Bangalore

Working model: WFO

Role: Permanent/fulltime

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases, including tables, views, indexes, and other database objects.
• Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and efficient database solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency of database applications.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust database constraints and security measures.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all database solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Solid understanding of database design concepts, data modelling, and normalization.
• Experience with performance tuning techniques, including the use of Explain Plan and other optimization tools.
• Proficiency in working with Oracle database versions (e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Unix Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Oracle certification (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate).
