Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Oracle Linux environments in enterprise infrastructure.
- Perform advanced server administration, including:
- Server and storage management
- OS-level network configuration
- Operating system security
- Server hardening
- Kernel parameter tuning
- Domain configuration and management
- Handle upgrade and migration activities for Oracle Linux systems.
- Execute cross-Linux migrations, preferably from any Linux distribution to Oracle Linux.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and performance tuning for Linux servers.
- Develop and maintain automation and shell scripts for system administration tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Strong expertise in Oracle Linux administration.
- Experience with server infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of Linux networking, security, and system hardening.
- Hands-on experience with Linux upgrades, migrations, and system tuning.
- Working knowledge of shell scripting and Oracle-delivered administration tools.
Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Oracle Linux 8 System Administrator
- Oracle Linux 7/8 Advanced System Administration Certification
- Any certification under Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Expertise in Shell scripting and Oracle administration tools
