Oracle JDE CNC System Administrator

ob Title:

System Administrator JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 (CNC & Infrastructure)

Required Skills / Experience:

• 7+ years total experience in Windows/Linux system administration
• Minimum 35 years in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 CNC administration
• Strong understanding of Configurable Network Computing (CNC) architecture
• Experience handling Tools Release upgrades, ESUs/ASUs, service packs
• Good knowledge of:
• Server Manager
• Enterprise Server / Deployment Server / JAS / AIS
• Experience in SQL Server or Oracle database administration
• Handson experience with backup/restore, DR, and HA environments
• Strong knowledge of network fundamentals VPN, DNS, load balancers, firewall basics
• Experience with VMware / Hyper-V / cloud (OCI/AWS/Azure) environments
• Experience with JDE Security, User Role Management, and UBE scheduler
• Understanding of log analysis, performance tuning, kernel monitoring
• Knowledge of AS400/DB2 will be an added advantage
• Ability to manage JDE production incidents and provide L2/L3 support

Responsibilities:

JD Edwards CNC Responsibilities

• Provide CNC administration for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2
• Perform package builds, deployments, path code setups, and OMW support
• Install and manage Tools Releases, ESUs, ASUs, and Service Packs
• Troubleshoot issues related to:
• Enterprise Server
• JAS/AIS Servers
• Logging & Kernel issues
• Scheduler / UBE failures
• Maintain and optimize EnterpriseOne performance
• Implement, monitor, and maintain security, roles, and policies
• Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and audit requirements

System Administrator Responsibilities

• Manage Windows/Linux servers, patches, and updates
• Monitor system health, performance, uptime, and security
• Manage backup & restore, and participate in DR drills
• Support VMware/Hyper-V, cloud platforms, and storage systems
• Maintain network connectivity, troubleshoot server/network issues
• Ensure security hardening and compliance
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell/Shell scripting
• Coordinate with DBAs, network teams, and development teams

• Strong analytical & troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently in 247 critical environments
• Strong communication & documentation skills
