Responsibilities

A day in the life of an Infoscion • As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment • You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs • You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements. • You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives • 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 2 years focused on developing and unit testing integration components using OIC. • Unravel the complexities: Dive into client challenges, understanding their data and application landscape to design optimal integration pathways. • Forge the connections: Translate requirements into technical specifications, building robust integration flows using your OIC expertise. • Code the bridges: Channel your inner builder, crafting reusable and maintainable integration components with REST/SOAP services. • Test the waters: Rigorously test your creations, ensuring flawless data exchange and ironing out any bugs before unleashing them into the wild. • Deploy with confidence: Guide the smooth rollout of your integration solutions, collaborating with teams and clients for seamless adoption. • Troubleshoot the storm: Be the first line of defense, proactively troubleshooting and resolving integration issues to maintain optimal performance. • Share the knowledge: Foster a collaborative spirit, mentoring junior developers and sharing your OIC expertise within the team. • Contribute to success: Actively participate in team initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities, driving continuous improvement and excellence.

Technical Requirements

• Expert-level understanding of: • OIC development and deployment using various connectors and adapters. • Data mapping and transformation techniques using tools like Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). • Writing complex SQL queries and optimization techniques. • Scripting languages like Shell or Python (preferred). • Strong understanding of: • Cloud-based deployment and DevOps practices for OIC. • REST/SOAP web services development and protocols. • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies. • Software design principles and architecture concepts. • Version control systems (e.g., Git).

Technology->Oracle Fusion Technology->Fusion Middleware

Additional Responsibilities

• Experience with other Oracle Middleware technologies. • Experience with API design and management principles. • Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
