An Oracle fusion functional consultant lead to own end-to-end solution delivery across distribution modules. The role requires strong functional depth and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud configurations, integrations, and operational processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirement workshops; document future-state processes, gaps, and fit-to-standard decisions.
  • Design and configure Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM solutions across OM, Inventory, PIM, Cost, and Procurement.
  • Drive end-to-end solution validation: functional test strategy, SIT/UAT support, defect triage, and resolution coordination.
  • Own functional design artifacts (process flows, configuration workbooks, test scripts, training content) and support knowledge transfer.
  • Partner with technical teams on integrations and conversions (FBDI/ADFdi, REST/SOAP APIs, file-based interfaces); define data mappings and reconciliation approach.
  • Support cutover planning and go-live hypercare; manage priority incidents and provide clear status updates to business stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders; present solution options, trade-offs, and best-practice recommendations.



Required Skills:

  • 8-10 years in Oracle SCM/ERP, with at least 5+ years hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM implementations.
  • Proven delivery experience covering both O2C and P2P cycles in Oracle Fusion.
  • Implementation experience spanning multiple phases: design, configuration, testing, training, cutover, and post-go-live support.
  • Strong functional troubleshooting skills and ability to translate issues into actionable configuration or technical fixes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skills.


Core Modules (Must Have):

  • Order Management (OM), Pricing/Discounting concepts, Shipping/Logistics touchpoints, and Global Order Promising (as applicable)
  • Inventory Management (Inventory Orgs, Subinventories, Locators, Lot/Serial controls, Inter-org transfers, ATP basics)
  • Product Information Management (PIM) (Item lifecycle, catalogs, attributes, NPI/change governance)
  • Cost Management (Inventory valuation, cost accounting basics, subledger to GL touchpoints, cost reporting/analysis)
  • Procurement (Self Service Procurement, Purchasing, Supplier/Item/BU considerations)


End-to-End Process Expertise (Hands-on)

  • Order-to-Cash (O2C): order capture, fulfillment, shipping confirmation, invoicing/AR handoffs, returns/credit scenarios
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P): requisitioning, approvals, purchase order lifecycle, receiving, invoice matching/AP collaboration
  • Strong understanding of downstream/upstream dependencies with Finance (AR/AP/GL), Tax, and Logistics


Nice to Have Skills:

  • Manufacturing functional knowledge (BOM, WIP basics, costing implications).
  • Oracle WMS / 3rd-party WMS integration experience (RF, inventory transactions, warehouse processes).
  • Oracle certification(s) in SCM modules (OM/Inventory/Procurement) and/or demonstrated domain credentials.
  • Experience with reporting (OTBI/BI Publisher) and analytics for operational KPIs.


Qualification:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
