Job Title: Oracle Fusion RMCS Consultant / RMCS Functional Consultant

Department: ERP / Finance Systems

Role Overview

The Oracle Fusion RMCS Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS). The role ensures compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards and works closely with Finance, Order Management, and IT teams to streamline revenue processes.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration

  • Lead endtoend implementation of Oracle Fusion RMCS including setup, configuration, and testing.
  • Configure revenue contracts, performance obligations, pricing, revenue allocation rules, and SSP profiles.
  • Integrate RMCS with upstream/downstream modules (OM, AR, Projects Cloud, Receivables).
  • Build and manage revenue recognition schedules following ASC 606 / IFRS 15 guidelines.

Business Analysis & Support

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into RMCS solutions.
  • Analyze revenue scenarios and advise on bestpractice configurations.
  • Provide daytoday application support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Perform monthend revenue processes: contract identification, allocation, release, and reconciliation.

Testing & Documentation

  • Develop test scripts, conduct SIT/UAT, and coordinate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Create functional design documents (FDDs), configuration documents, and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and financial controls.

Integration & Reporting

  • Work with technical teams to support Web Services, FBDI, OTBI, BI Publisher , and integration testing.
  • Develop revenue reports using OTBI/BIP and support data migration activities.
  • Collaborate with IT/Tech teams for enhancements, custom solutions, and data corrections.

Required Skills

Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles.
  • Handson experience in Oracle Fusion RMCS configuration and support.
  • Understanding of related modules: AR, OM, Finance, Projects, Pricing.
  • Experience with revenue allocation, performance obligations, and SSP calculations.

Technical Skills (if TechnoFunctional role)

  • FBDI, ADFDi, SQL queries, Data Conversion.
  • OTBI, BI Publisher report creation.
  • API/Web service integrations.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to interact with finance stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Fusion certification (Financials / RMCS).
  • Experience in multicloud implementations (ERP, SCM, CX, Projects).
  • Background in Finance or Accounting (MBA Finance / CA / CPA preferred).
