LSEG have embarked on a Finance Transformation programme, to deliver our Finance Vision and transform the way we work to create value and deliver sustainable growth for the business. The Programme is driving efficiencies and maximising benefits for LSEG by moving to a single cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning and Performance Management (Oracle Fusion/EPM/EDM).

Role Profile

We are looking for dynamic and forward-looking Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Oracle Fusion Releases Management Analyst to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing OCI environments, including the setup, configuration, and management of OCI resources, as well as coordinating OCI support and Owner of the IT Change & Releases in agile Sprint. The candidate must have full understanding the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioural characteristics of large-scale implementation of Cloud Fusion. As an Oracle IT Change and Release Management Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient implementation of changes within our Oracle-based IT systems. You will work closely with various stakeholders to manage the entire change lifecycle, from request to deployment, ensuring compliance with established processes and minimizing risks.

As an Oracle Fusion Releases Management Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Change Management: Coordinate and lead the entire change lifecycle, including change request submission, assessment, authorization, and implementation.

  • Ensure alignment to established IT change management policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses for proposed changes.

  • Facilitate change review boards and decision-making processes.

  • Release Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive release plans and schedules.

  • Coordinate release activities across development, testing, and production environments.

  • Lead release dependencies and dependencies between changes.

  • Lead all aspects of release deployment and post-deployment activities.

  • Configuration Management: Maintain accurate records of configuration items and their attributes. Lead configuration changes and ensure that they are implemented and tracked correctly. Perform regular configuration audits to verify compliance with standards.

  • Problem Management: Identify and analyze problems related to changes and releases.

  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to prevent recurrence. Track and report on problem resolution progress.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on change and release activities, including metrics and key performance indicators. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Expertise in IT Change Releases life cycle Management. Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies

  • Expertise in handling and working with Oracle support, consulting teams and should have a through understanding of the process that is involved taking care of Oracle SR’s.

  • Standout colleague, able to work with various levels in the organization across multiple time zones.

  • Naturally inquisitive, able to think creatively and offer solutions or alternative viewpoints.

  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to understand the basics of Oracle Cloud Fusion Apps, EDMCS, EPM, RMB and OICS

  • Ability to convert functional business requirements into technical solutions.

Experience

  • Experience in Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Applications Implementation/Release Management and leading end to end operations for change control boards.

  • Understanding of Oracle Cloud and EBS R12 / RMB Architecture

  • Experience working within a Finance Technology function, preferably with large Financial Services Organisation.

  • Experience in driving high availability, resiliency, and scalability of a global Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Applications landscape delivering metrics-driven continuous improvements.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional Directors and global leads

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
