Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financial Functional Consultant to support and enhance our Oracle Financials platform amid rapid organizational growth, including expansion of legal entities and ledgers.
The ideal candidate will possess strong finance and accounting knowledge along with hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience, particularly in Payables, Fixed Assets, SLA, and Reporting. This role involves end-to-end functional support, system enhancements, production support, and collaboration across IT and business teams in North America and EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Support & Production Support
- Provide day-to-day functional support for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financial modules (Payables, Fixed Assets, SLA, OTBI, FRS, SmartView).
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
- Support periodic patches, upgrades, and on-call production support (including late nights/weekends as required).
- Manage ad-hoc reporting and business user requests.
Design, Configuration & Enhancements
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Design, configure, test, and deploy Oracle Financials enhancements.
- Lead functional activities in implementation projects including configuration, testing, and UAT.
- Produce system documentation including:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Specifications
- Data Flow Diagrams
- Test Plans
- Process/Swim Lane Diagrams
End-User Requirements & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Gather and manage end-user requirements across Finance teams.
- Partner with cross-functional IT teams (infrastructure, database, security, operations).
- Ensure compliance with company change management and security policies.
- Provide user training and system knowledge transfer.
Project Management
- Support full SDLC lifecycle activities.
- Track project milestones using MS Project (preferred).
- Coordinate with internal and external Oracle development teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience (mandatory).
- Hands-on implementation experience in:
- Accounts Payables (AP)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Subledger Accounting (SLA)
- Financial Reporting (OTBI, FRS, SmartView)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end financial business processes.
- Minimum 3+ years of TOAD/SQL experience (mandatory).
- Solid finance and accounting knowledge.
- Experience supporting North America and/or EMEA business users.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working independently and within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Financials Certification.
- Oracle Property Manager knowledge.
- Experience in finance/accounting industry.
- Project management experience.
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.
