Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Oracle Finance Functional Consultant to join our Systems Analysts team supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Cloud, and related financial systems, with a strong focus on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) initiatives. The role involves working closely with business users, technical teams, and QA to support strategy, requirement gathering, implementation, testing, and post-go-live support of Oracle Finance applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and implement Oracle Financial Applications including Oracle EBS (R12) and Oracle Cloud Fusion.
- Lead functional activities related to M&A integrations, system strategy, and solution design.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Work closely with Technical and QA teams during testing cycles (SIT/UAT).
- Perform functional testing of Finance modules and support users during period close.
- Configure and implement new Ledgers, Operating Units, and Inventory Organizations.
- Conduct POCs and propose solutions independently.
- Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve functional issues.
- Write basic SQL queries to analyze and troubleshoot data-related issues.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in Oracle EBS Financials (preferably R12).
- Strong functional expertise in GL (expert level), AP, AR, FA, CM, EBTax, SLA, and PA modules.
- Strong understanding of R2R (Record to Report) business cycles.
- Minimum 2 full-cycle implementations with hands-on setup of ledger, OU, and org structures.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial operations.
- Experience with global financial processes and month/quarter/year-end close.
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials / Fusion is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with proven stakeholder interaction experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proactive attitude.
- Team player with positive and solution-oriented mindset.
Qualifications:
- Experience in M&A projects or system integrations.
- Prior exposure to cloud-based ERP implementations.
- Ability to work independently and lead functional tracks.
