Job Description: Johnson Controls is looking for a skilled Oracle Field Service Cloud Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing solutions using Oracle Field Service Cloud. This role requires a strong understanding of field service management and the ability to create innovative solutions that enhance service delivery. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Field Service Cloud applications and solutions. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical specifications based on business needs. 

• Implement customizations and integrations within Oracle Field Service Cloud to improve operational efficiency. 

• Conduct testing and ensure the quality of applications, addressing any issues that arise during the development lifecycle. 

• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications. 

• Stay up to date with Oracle Field Service Cloud features, new API capabilities, plugin framework changes, modern web development trends and best practices to enhance system performance. 

• Development of custom OFSC Plugins (both OFSC hosted plugins and externally hosted applications via APIs) 

• Develop high quality and maintainable plugin code using core web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+ 

• Must be familiar with relevant frameworks e.g. React, Angular and Oracle JET 

• Configure relevant aspects of screen configurations, user types, properties, routing, capacity, work order management to support plugin functionality and deployment 

• Implement robust security measures within plugins including authentication/authorization, i.e. Auth 2.0, managing CORS policies and adhering to secure coding practices. 

• Ensure plugins are designed for optimal performance with good user experience across different platforms (Mobile, Desktop, iOS OFSC Mobile app) 

• Must have experience with OFSC Core Manage Configuration beyond just plugins 

• Collaborate with technical teams for seamless integration with other Oracle Cloud Modules, i.e. ERP, B2B, MuleSoft, OIC etc. 

• Create and maintain technical documentation for OFSC plugin designs, code and deployment procedures 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 

• 7 to 10 years of experience in Oracle Field Service Cloud development. 

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Field Service Cloud architecture and configuration. 

• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies such as JavaScript, Java, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, SQL, and web services. 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
