Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our enterprise delivery teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting complex database-driven applications in Healthcare / Insurance domains, working closely with cross-functional teams in an onshoreoffshore delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL database objects including Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, Views, and Indexes
• Participate in end-to-end SDLC activities: requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Perform database modeling and schema design to support scalable enterprise applications
• Implement performance tuning and optimization using execution plans, indexes, partitioning, and query optimization techniques
• Develop and manage table partitioning strategies (Range, List) and automated purge/archival solutions
• Handle data migration and bulk data operations using export/import utilities
• Support deployments across multiple environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD)
• Work closely with onsite teams for requirement clarifications, estimations, and release planning
• Provide post-production warranty and defect resolution support
• Prepare technical documentation including HLD, LLD, change requests, and implementation plans

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
• Hands-on expertise in:
• Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers
• Analytical functions, collections, table functions
• Indexing strategies and table partitioning
• Strong experience in SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Experience with UNIX environment and shell scripting basics
• Exposure to SQL Server and database migration activities
• Working knowledge of Erwin Data Modeler or similar tools
• Solid understanding of enterprise data models and RDBMS concepts
