Job Description
Oracle DBA
Experience : 5-11 Years
Location : Chennai/ Bangalore
Responsibilities
- Expertise in database concepts, database technologies and Oracle DB, 19C administration & RAC Administration.
- Able to handle escalated RAC issues.
- Very good understanding of trouble shooting experience in High Available Production environments.
- Coordinating with Onsite, sharing the work and getting done on time.
- Knowledge of logical and physical database modelling concepts and techniques.
- Experience in managing 24x7 production environments.
- Proficient in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Client/Server Connectivity.
- Knowledge of Operating Systems and Storage level technologies.
- Experience in Capacity planning.
- Knowledge of Maintaining Resource Consistency and Server Configuration consistency across all environments of Oracle.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt in demanding environment.
- Experience in Migration Planning and DR planning.
- Must be proficient in user management and managing Login, Database roles, Object-level permission.
- Must have experience in Replication, Disaster Recovery, High Availability, Automation Scripting and Clustering.
- Should possess a good technical background with an ability to effectively interface with cross-functional teams (server administrators, storage administrators, client application developers, etc).
- Good-to-Have Cloud Database knowledge (cockroach, Cassandra AWS, Radis).
