Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Database Administration:

• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle database systems, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and schema.
• Perform regular backups and recovery procedures, ensuring data integrity.
• Manage user access and security for database systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement and maintain database replication and clustering solutions.
• Develop and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills required:

• 2+ years of experience in database administration, specifically with Oracle databases.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning.
• Experience with database backup and recovery tools (RMAN, Data Pump).
• Familiarity with middleware concepts, including clustering, load balancing, and session management.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
