Replication DBA
_x000D_ This role provides operational replication DBA services  which is used by core enterprise systems including which rely on data replication.

• Designs data streaming/replication topologies
• Support, tunes and monitors operational data streaming/replication topologies to ensure data is in-sync and data latency SLA’s are met.
• Works across functional teams to ensure data is sourced from right place using the right data movement technology.
• Develop internal tools to facilitate the creation, deployment, and monitoring of data replication through automation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Maintains business SLA, compliance patch levels, security and operational guidelines for SOC auditing, practices SOP, incident management, and license compliance 
• Uses customer centric approaches for choosing course of action or developing appropriate solutions
• Aligns communication, accountability, resources & processes to ensure strategic priorities yield measurable and sustainable results
• Tenaciously works to deliver team goals with the greatest potential for producing positive business results
• Ensures that team continually works on resolving systematic issues in the environment and improving stability, automation, and monitoring of systems
• Participate as part of weekly on-call rotation with other team members
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and eight (8) years of relevant experience including database administration, database programming, data engineering or combination of education and training experience.
• 4+ years experience with Oracle 
• 2-5 years experience with GoldenGate 
• Experience designing and supporting data streaming/replication in a large multi-database platform environment
• Experience with native SQL Server replication a plus
• Experience with MongoDB a plus
• Experience with AWS DMS a plus 
• Experience with Kafka a plus
• Specific experience creating and maintaining streaming/replication pipelines
• Experience using scripting languages such as bash, Powershell, SQL and/or Python
• Experience with monitoring tools: Splunk, DataDog, or CloudWatch
