Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle BRM Opcode Developer with strong hands-on expertise in BRM customization and opcode development. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting custom Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) opcodes, integrations, and extensions supporting billing, rating, and customer management functions.

The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of BRM internals and proven experience in development, deployment, and production support environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom BRM opcodes using C, C++, or Java
• Enhance existing opcodes to support new billing, rating, discount, and customer management functionalities
• Debug and resolve issues in custom and standard opcodes during production support
• Integrate BRM with CRM, ERP, middleware, and external systems using EAI frameworks
• Work with PCM_OP APIs, Data Managers (DM), Connection Managers (CM), and custom DM implementations
• Participate in impact analysis, design reviews, and code reviews
• Perform unit testing, SIT, and support UAT for opcode deployments
• Monitor and troubleshoot BRM logs including cm.pinlog, dm logs, and custom loggers
• Provide L2/L3 production support for opcode-related incidents and defects
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Prepare technical design documents, deployment guides, and knowledge base documentation

Required Skills and Experience

• 46 years of Oracle BRM development experience
• Strong knowledge of BRM architecture, data model, pricing, rating, and billing concepts
• Hands-on experience developing and customizing BRM opcodes using C/C++ or Java
• Experience working with PCM_OP APIs and BRM development utilities
• Policy customization using PCM C or PCM Java and MTA development
• Strong Unix/Linux experience with Shell scripting and SQL/PLSQL
• Understanding of BRM DM/CM architecture, Event Notification Framework, and Pipeline Manager
• Experience integrating systems using EAI/JMS frameworks
• Exposure to billing cycles, invoicing, payments, and collections processes

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with PDC integration
• Exposure to BRM upgrade or migration projects
• Cloud billing exposure (OCI or AWS)
• ITIL knowledge for incident and change management
