Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle Apps DBA with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) administration to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise Oracle application environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience across database, middleware, and application tiers, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, high availability architectures, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, tune, and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments across the full application lifecycle.
• Perform installation, configuration, cloning, patching, upgrades, and maintenance of Oracle EBS application and database tiers .
• Manage and support Oracle Database 19c or above , including RAC environments.
• Support databases hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) , including security hardening, patch set updates, and performance optimization.
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle technology stack components including Oracle Database, Middleware, WebLogic, Forms, Reports, and related utilities .
• Implement and enforce Oracle database and middleware security policies , ensuring data integrity, availability, and recoverability.
• Develop, review, and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies for EBS, databases, and middleware components.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and proactively resolve issues.
• Work closely with application, middleware, OS, storage, and network teams to ensure smooth deployments and rapid incident resolution.
• Support production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
• Document operational procedures, standards, and best practices related to Oracle EBS and database administration.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field .
• 8+ years of strong hands-on experience as an Oracle Apps DBA supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environments.
• Extensive experience in Oracle EBS administration , including patching, cloning, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database 19c or above , including RAC .
• Experience managing Oracle databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) .
• Strong knowledge of Oracle security, patching, and compliance best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and alerting.
• Proven experience supporting high-availability and disaster recovery environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with EBS on OCI or cloud migration projects.
• Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server and middleware administration.
• Familiarity with automation/scripting (Shell, Perl, Python).
• Exposure to ITIL processes and change management.
