Job Description

Role Purpose 

This role is for an experienced OCI Architect and Oracle ERP Apps DBA responsible for migrating on-premise Oracle EBS to OCI, supporting daily operations, and ensuring system security and performance. It is critical to maintaining the stability of business-critical applications hosted on a 24/7/365 infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead migration of Oracle EBS 12.2 and DB 19c to OCI.
  • Design and implement OCI infrastructure (Compute, Storage, Networking).
  • Administer OCI services and ensure performance, scalability, and security.
  • Manage backups, recovery, patching, cloning, and automation.
  • Support and troubleshoot EBS applications and integrations.
  • Handle cloning, multi-node configurations, and post-clone setups.
  • Apply patches and conduct pre-patch analysis.
  • Coordinate code deployments and manage releases.
  • Tune JVM, concurrent managers, and workflow performance.
  • Ensure security compliance, manage certificates, and audit reporting.
  • Support integrations with WebLogic, OAM/OID, OAAM, Webcenter, Kofax, and others.
  • Liaise with infrastructure teams for patching, DR tests, and monitoring.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in OCI migration (Oracle EBS 12.2, DB 19c).
  • Deep knowledge of OCI services and EBS architecture.
  • Strong hands-on with patching, cloning, backup, and automation.
  • Expertise in WebLogic, SSO, and EBS Financial modules.
  • Familiarity with security, compliance, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Shell scripting.
