Oracle Apps DBA

About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned, hands-on Oracle Apps DBA to manage and optimize a large-scale, high-availability database ecosystem. If you love solving complex performance challenges, driving automation, and ensuring enterprise-grade uptime this role is built for you.

What You'll Do

• Manage and tune performance across 220+ database instances using OEM, Quest Spotlight & custom scripts
• Design and maintain backup, recovery, DR, and HA strategies (DataGuard, RAC, SQL Clustering)
• Lead failover drills and disaster recovery tests
• Build health dashboards, performance baselines, and capacity planning reports
• Administer patching, access control, and provisioning in line with SOX compliance
• Support and maintain replication tools GoldenGate, Qlik Replicate, Oracle ODI
• Drive infrastructure automation using Shell, Python, or Ansible
• Collaborate with App, BI & Infrastructure teams on performance bottlenecks

What We're Looking For

68+ years of enterprise DBA experience (Oracle + PostgreSQL) Strong Oracle EBS, RAC, DataGuard, Exadata & Rimini patching experience PostgreSQL expertise on-prem & AWS (deployment, scaling, tuning) Hands-on with GoldenGate & Qlik Replicate Scripting proficiency (Shell, Python) + automation tools (Ansible preferred) SOX compliance familiarity access controls & audit logs Comfortable with rotational 24/7 shifts
