Optometrist

Duties & Responsibilities

1.Providing direct support and assisting to the patient pre, and  post operatively

2.Participate and monitor cleaning activities in between the cases.

3. Assist with the implementation of policy and procedures for the quality assurance and improvement of ophthalmology department services in the OPD and to assure and improve compliance with NABH and JCI.

4.Develop and maintain good relation with staff and physician and other stake holders to patient care

5. Act as a liaison between quality and Ophthalmology department for improving function of Technician services

6. Participate and utilize result of audit/quality improvement and/or research activities to improve patient care as learning experiences for staff

7. Participate in hands on educational programmes with help of education department ensuring training is completed on time.

8. Participate in ACLS and BLS training round the year as required by the education     department as well as organization.

9.  Ensuring the training hours been completed

10.  Participate and assist in all types of audit for the better patient care and clinical outcome

11. Perform all other related duties incidental to the work described as required by optometry technician

12. Inventory management and responsibility to the consultant doctor in the planning, implementing quality to the organization.
