OPT Recruiter / US Talent Acquisition Specialist

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced OPT Recruiter / US Talent Acquisition Specialist who can source and manage candidates on the bench and work closely with clients and vendors to place resources quickly across US projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US staffing, visa categories, negotiations, and tax terms .
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard candidates on the bench with strong IT backgrounds
- Work with candidates holding:
- H1B, H1 Transfer, GC, GC-EAD, OPT, CPT, USC
- Source profiles with 8+ years of IT experience for client needs
- Build and maintain relationships with consultants, vendors, and clients
- Negotiate rates based on requirements and client budgets
- Submit candidates to suitable roles, follow up, and ensure placement
- Maintain pipeline and regular communication with bench candidates
- Good understanding of:
- US staffing lifecycle
- Visa rules
- Tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099)
- Track submissions, interviews, and onboarding status
- Work closely with sales and account managers for closures
Required Skills
- 36 years of experience in US staffing / bench sales / OPT recruitment
- Strong knowledge of:
- US visas (H1B, GC, EAD, OPT)
- Vendor networks and job portals
- Tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets
- Experience working on multiple requirements at once
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
