Job Description
Brindha Eye Hospital invites applications from qualified and motivated Ophthalmologists for appointment across its expanding clinical network . These roles are intended for clinicians seeking professional autonomy, leadership responsibility and long-term association within a rapidly growing, ethically governed eye care institution.
The specific center of posting will be finalized during the selection process , based on institutional requirements and candidate suitability.
Appointments are open across the following ophthalmology services:
- Comprehensive / General Ophthalmology
- Cataract and Refractive Services
- Medical Retina
- Glaucoma
- Cornea and Ocular Surface Disorders
- Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Other ophthalmic sub-specialties, as applicable
The appointed Ophthalmologist will be expected to:
- Assume independent clinical responsibility at the assigned center
- Deliver high-quality outpatient care, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Uphold institutional standards of ethical medical practice and patient safety
- Lead and collaborate with optometrists, nursing staff, and allied health teams
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and continuity of patient care
These roles are particularly suited to clinicians who value decision-making authority, professional trust, and ownership of clinical outcomes .
- MS / DNB / DO in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution
- Fellowship training in any ophthalmic sub-specialty is preferred
- Freshly qualified ophthalmologists are encouraged to apply , subject to adequate clinical exposure and readiness for responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to function independently in a structured clinical environment
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered professional approach
