Scope:

Ensures efficient operating and continuous improvement of CNC/VMC machine processes. This role involves operating the machines and ensure the quality of the products, setting up and operating CNC/VMC machines, troubleshooting process issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and Production units to achieve production targets.

Key Performance areas:

  • Set up and Operate CNC/VMC machines efficiently by studying drawings and Setup instructions (preferred Turn Mill 5-Axis machines) to achieve daily production targets and quality standards.
  • Set up machines by studying drawings and standard set up instructions.
  • Observe overall operations and conduct regular daily maintenance on equipment and the work area.
  • Complete production paperwork and inspection procedures as required.
  • Report any problems or discrepancies to the immediate supervisor promptly.
  • Manage measuring instrument tools, and fixtures carefully to prevent damage.
  • Maintain and implement the quality system in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Monitor and control the machining process to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to operate two machines simultaneously, demonstrating multitasking skills.
  • Follow the safety instructions & ensure compliance with safety.
  • Perform regular daily, and weekly maintenance on CNC/VMC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
  • Collaborate with teams actively participate in continuous improvement projects and contribute to the development of new processes and methodologies.

Your Profile:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is must.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in CNC/VMC machine (Turn Mill Axis-5 Machine experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of turning cycles and milling operations, along with the ability to operate Siemens -controlled machines.
  • In depth understanding of reading engineering drawings and specifications, machine principles, and cutting tool selection.
  • Experience operating DMG machines with Siemens control is highly valued.
  • Familiar with precision measuring instruments and metrology techniques.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve process issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Good communication in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
