Job Title: Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Business & Team: Retail Operation & VERO Team

Impact & contribution:

Credit analysis, decisioning, verification, monitoring throughout the credit lifecycle; the development of credit policy; or the implementation of credit strategies, including problem asset strategies; across the retail business

Reporting lines: Reporting to Operations Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer requests and process documentation within agreed turnaround times, ensuring consistent accuracy in a high-volume environment.

  • Adhere to policies and procedures, meeting or exceeding established Service Level Agreements.

  • Ensure the quality of submitted work meets the highest standards.

  • Apply sound risk management practices by proactively identifying, responding to, and reporting risks as necessary.

  • Provide high levels of internal customer service by collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues.

  • Raise operational continuous improvement suggestions identified during task completion.

  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you can perform safely, in line with relevant internal bank policies and external regulatory requirements.

  • Possess a necessary understanding of CBA retail products

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in operations is required.

  • Highly energetic and dynamic professional who are always striving to do better for our customers.

  • Excellent communication skill Written and Oral.

  • Strong in exercising sound judgement backed by analytical and problem-solving skill.

  • Carrying impressive interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with our Australian frontline and leading lenders.

  • Demonstrate curious mindset and ability to investigate.

  • Relevant experience in managing deceased estates will be a valuable advantage.

  • Proven ability to manage complex processes with high level of accuracy.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
